External Description:

2.1.   General


An Implementation Consultant is part of the Delivery team. The IC provides application consultancy to customers and partners, analyzes customer operational and functional processes to support them configuring appropriately and effectively Spacewell products and ensures the delivery of the solution.



2.2.   Key result area’s - tasks


Project planning

  • Monitoring the project in terms of man-day consumption (budget) and deadlines.
  • Defining, documenting, and monitoring the different stages relating to the configuration of solutions.


Functional analysis

  • Analyze and understand detailed business requirements.
  • Document business requirements, gatherings and issues and updated business process flows.


Software configuration & implementation advice

  • Define and describe links with external software and ERP systems (SAP, Lotus Notes, Peoplesoft, etc.), and monitor and test the interfaces in the client's ecosystem.
  • Analyzing failures and anomalies and resolving implementation problems.
  • Collaborate with the various teams at the client's site during the design, parameterization, acceptance, and production assistance phases.
  • Provide recommendations and advice to enable the customer to make optimal use of the software.
  • Understand the specific context of the client in order to fully understand the starting situation and the client's priorities and objectives within the project.
  • Write specific documents precisely detailing the needs of the users.


Training & Support

  • Provide clear and effective training to key users and support the client throughout the deployment process.
  • Discuss and challenge specific customer requirements
  • Provide assistance to the customer during the acceptance, deployment and stabilization phases and until the final acceptance report is delivered.
  • Develop/update documentation and workflows.


Represent Spacewell

  • To be the privileged interlocutor for customers and partners.
  • Strengthen Spacewell's image and reputation through your credibility, involvement, and professionalism.
  • Keep customer satisfaction at the heart of your implementation process.
  • Be a professional, knowledgeable contact for clients, and all parties involved in an implementation project.


Pre-sales activities

  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, such as demonstrations of the tool and responses to RFI/RFPs.





  • Minimum bachelor’s degree
  • Affinity with IT
  • Proficient in Dutch and English
